NetShow Alive · Alive Agent Avatars

The Docs Spine

One index for the whole estate. The studio grew on two roots that never linked to each other — the 2D atlas lane and the wire-sw embodied lane. Land anywhere, find everything: every engine, the stage, the config door, the seal/wear pipeline, the converse spine, deployment.

Built 2026-08-04 · lane opus5-atlas-join1-20260804
Verification every link below was checked twice on 2026-08-04 — the target exists on disk under the docroot and answers HTTP 200 over the wire. 60/60 passed, 0 failures.
Freshness badges are measured, not guessed: they come from date, session and sha tokens found inside each file's own bytes, falling back to filesystem mtime where a file carries no self-stamp.

Proposal — not published This page is a candidate produced by a proposal-only worker lane. Nothing here has been written to the live docroot and no existing estate file was modified to create it. Serving it is Michael's call.
current in or consistent with the live Jul-31→Aug-03 batch drifting behind a batch that changed what it describes stale contradicted by evidence, or predates its subsystem archive a dated snapshot — old on purpose gated UI hidden behind the demo gate

Start here — the index surfaces

The four pages that try to be an index. None of them currently reaches the whole estate.

01

The engines

Six first-class avatar types. Five 2D engines plus the live-VRM painter binding.

02

The stage

Where an agent is actually embodied. The wire-sw lane is the crown jewel and the half the atlas never mentions.

03

The config door

The single feature-control surface. Every control is generated from the registry — nothing hand-lists a field.

04

Seal & wear — the portable agent

One JSON carries an avatar between surfaces. Author it, seal it, carry it, wear it, sell it.

05

The converse spine

What makes her talk, remember, and move while she speaks. Shared modules, not a per-page copy.

06

Deployment

How an agent leaves the estate — embedded, on-prem, or dropped into someone else's page.

07

Known, and not on the web

Load-bearing documents that live only in the repository. Listed without links because every one of them returns 404 to a reader.

These are named here so a reader knows they exist and can ask for them, rather than concluding the estate has no specification:

CAPABILITIES-NETSHOW-ALIVE-20260730.md — the wire-sw capability census. Nine days newer than the Tech Atlas and far deeper on the embodied lane. Publishing this is the single largest documentation win available.
ALIVE-AVATAR-PACKAGE-SPEC-20260718.md — the seal/package specification, cited by name inside the live package module.
ALIVE-AGENT-EVENT-PROTOCOL-SPEC-20260718.md — the session protocol: lifecycle events and engine states.
ALIVE-ADAPTERS-PROVIDER-MAP-20260718.md — the provider adapter contracts.
ALIVE-SDK-20260719.md — the SDK reference behind the developers page.
FACE-DISPLAYS-20260719.md · FACE-PHONICS-SPEC-20260718.md — the face-display switch and upper-face behaviour layer.
INTEGRATION-MAP-S35 — cited as binding law by three live modules (nsv-liveface-bind.js, alive-renderers.js, nsv-seal-sketch-line.js); exists off-docroot at staged-patches/s21-integration-20260727/INTEGRATION-MAP-S35-20260802.html, 404 to every reader.
